CCC AutoDownload

The 3D files from completed work items land on your production PC by themselves — with the filename intact and sorted by Form, year and month. Sign in once, then the app takes care of it.

Installer for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) · about 5 MB · macOS version on the way

Why it exists

Three everyday frictions. Solved.

01

No more manual downloads, one item at a time

Today the operator opens the portal and clicks "Download" on every finished work item. With CCC AutoDownload the files appear on disk as soon as they are ready: no repeated clicking, no forgotten item.

02

No more duplicated, renamed files

The same filename, sent by different clients and downloaded into the Downloads folder, becomes _v2, _v3, _v4 — and breaks the automatic detection in ExoCAD, 3Shape, hyperDent or Millbox, which read the name to work out material and process. The app keeps the exact name, separating files into distinct folders.

03

A chronological view for the workshop

The CadCamCloud / Form / year / month / code structure makes it immediate to find "June's jobs", straight from File Explorer, without opening a management system.

How it works

Set up once. Then it disappears.

  1. 1

    Install and sign in

Download the installer and sign in with the lab's CadCamCloud credentials. Just once.

  2. 2

The app lives in the system tray

It stays in the background, discreet, and periodically polls CadCamCloud for completed work items. No intrusive windows, no nagging notifications.

  3. 3

    Files arrive sorted

Each 3D file is downloaded into CadCamCloud / Form / year / month / code. The companion files (ExoCAD's .constructionInfo, 3Shape's .xml) stay next to the main one, ready for the CAM import.

A look

The app in three screens.

Discreet in the system tray, a window showing the queue, the files sorted in File Explorer.

  • The system tray icon: the app works in the background.
  • The main window: the queue of work items downloading.
  • The downloaded files, sorted by Form, year and month in File Explorer.
Benefits

What changes for the lab.

  • Zero daily friction

The 3D files reach the operator's PC automatically, with no manual clicking on every work item.

  • Filename intact, certification protected

The filename is part of the medico-legal traceability chain and of the automatic detection used by CAD/CAM software. The app guarantees it is never altered.

  • Automatic organisation

By Form, year, month and work item. The workshop finds the files where it expects them, with nothing to decide.

  • Discreet, in the background

It lives in the system tray: no intrusive windows, no nagging notifications.

  • Updates itself

New versions install automatically, from a cryptographically signed channel. You have nothing to do.

Requirements

What you need

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
  • A CadCamCloud account on the Premium or Enterprise plan
  • An internet connection for synchronisation
  • About 5 MB for the app, plus space for the downloaded files

Windows only for now. The macOS version is planned; we will update this page as soon as we have a date.

Included in the Premium and Enterprise plans

CCC AutoDownload is one of the features of the Premium and Enterprise plans. On the Basic and Pro plans the files remain downloadable manually from the CadCamCloud portal: the desktop app is the way to take that step out of the operator's day. If it is of interest, you can see what the higher plans include from here.

Access to the app is verified against your plan at sign-in.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Which plan do I need to use it?
CCC AutoDownload is available on the Premium and Enterprise plans. On the Basic and Pro plans the files remain downloadable manually from the portal.
Is it available for Mac?
Not at the moment: this first version is Windows only. A macOS version is planned, but we do not yet have a date to share.
Where are the files saved?
In a CadCamCloud folder on your computer, organised into subfolders by Form, year, month and work-item code.
Are the CAD/CAM companion files downloaded?
Yes. The companion files (for example ExoCAD's .constructionInfo or 3Shape's .xml) are downloaded next to the main file, in the same folder, as the CAM software requires for the automatic import.
Can the filename change?
No. The name is preserved exactly as it was uploaded: it is what lets CAD/CAM software perform automatic detection and what protects the medico-legal traceability.
Does the app update itself?
Yes. New versions are distributed and installed automatically through a cryptographically signed channel.
